Autologous Fat Transfer The Dallas Fort Worth Institute of Body Sculpturing offers this non-invasive, non-surgical, out patient procedure to our patients. Common Treatment Conditions
The Fat Transfer Procedure Fat will be liposuctioned from your thighs or other parts of your body where fat is readily available, and then transferred to other areas of your body. Not every area of your body responds well to fat transfer. Dr. Dobson can best evaluate your skin condition and recommend whether you are a candidate for fat transfer. Benefits of Fat Transfer Little pain or discomfort
The Fat Transfer Procedure Dr. Dobson can best evaluate your skin's condition, defects, and your desires. A complete consultation with a recommended treatment plan will be designed for you specifically. Fat transfer is performed in our Institute and is an outpatient procedure. The treatment site and the site where fat is removed are both anesthetized with a local anesthetic. A small needle attached to a syringe is used to remove fat from the donor site, usually your abdomen, buttocks, or thighs. The fat is processed to remove excess fluids and then reinjected using another needle. The fat is placed just under your skin, beneath the wrinkle or deeper into the tissue. Dr. Dobson and the staff of the Dallas-Fort Worth Institute of Body Sculpturing are available to answer any questions or concerns that you may have about autologous fat transplantation.
